Home Improvement Assistance

After a two-year hiatus, the City of Miamisburg is prepared to launch Phase III of the Owner-Occupied Home Rehabilitation Program. The program is targeted to low- and moderate-income households in need of repair or replacement of key home systems – such as roofs, HVAC, plumbing, electric, doors, windows, driveways, porches, chimneys, siding, brickwork, and handicap accessibility improvements – with the goal of improving our local housing stock, reducing property neglect, and helping residents to remain in their homes.

To qualify for the program, you must meet all the following criteria:

  1. Own your own home;

  2. Live in the home as your primary residence;

  3. Be current on your property taxes or current on a payment plan;

  4. Propose an eligible project; and

  5. Meet the income qualifications (80% or less of the area median household income).

If you have a project in mind and you feel you meet all of the above criteria, please contact Andrew Rodney, City Planner, via phone (937-847-6536), or email andrew.rodney@cityofmiamisburg.com or stop by the Civic Annex at 20 E. Central Avenue anytime from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, for a pre-qualification interview.

If you qualify, your information will be forwarded to CountyCorp for further processing.
