As a part of the Sycamore Trails Improvement Project, the playground in the south area of the park, off Maue Road will be relocated to Westover Park. Work is expected to begin early next week removing the existing playground and shelter in Westover Park to make room for this new equipment. The new playground and shelter is anticipated to be ready for play in early Spring 2024.
Westover Park is located within the CARES neighborhood improvement district and this reuse of equipment is based on feedback from residents in the neighborhood highlighting the need for park improvements.
