Thank you to all the residents that came to our second Stakeholder Meeting on Wednesday, September 20th at Bear Elementary. City Staff were on hand to share the latest updates on the Riverview Avenue project (construction starts Spring 2024) and introduce an on-going stormwater study in the Seibert Plat by Strand Associates (to be completed in early 2024). The meeting concluded with a dot exercise where attendees identified their priority Goals and Objectives as reported during the initial resident survey back in 2020 and 2021. We gathered a great deal of very helpful feedback from the residents on what City Staff and our neighborhood partners should concentrate on next.

Finally, if you received a letter and survey in the mail about the stormwater study, please take a moment to respond and return the survey via the enclosed envelope or via email. Even if you have no flooding or drainage issues to report, that information is valuable in calibrating the model used by Strand to evaluate stormwater flow. Please respond by September 29th.
